WeDay is a social commerce all-in-one platform where people connect to share, trade, and engage with communities. To maintain a positive experience for everyone, we’ve developed these Community Standards. They are designed to promote safety, authenticity, and responsible behavior.

Community Standard

Respect for Others

We do not allow content or actions that degrade or threaten others.

  • Content that includes hate speech, harassment, or incites violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or disability is not allowed.
  • Bullying, intimidation, or doxxing (publishing personal information) will be removed and may result in account restrictions.

Authenticity

We value honest and transparent interactions.

  • Do not impersonate individuals, businesses, or organizations.
  • Misleading or deceptive behavior—such as creating fake accounts or engaging in coordinated manipulation—is not allowed.

Privacy and Data Protection

You must respect other users’ privacy.

  • Sharing private or confidential information (e.g., identification numbers, bank details, or private messages) without consent is prohibited.
  • Attempts to collect personal data from other users without proper notice and consent are not allowed.

Intellectual Property

We respect the rights of content creators and copyright holders.

  • You may only post content that you own or have the right to use.
  • Copyrighted materials used without authorization may be removed if reported.

Commerce and Business Activity

WeDay allows businesses to reach new audiences. However, we do not allow:

  • Promotion or sale of illegal, counterfeit, or restricted items.
  • Fraudulent or deceptive business practices.
  • Abuse of the e-wallet or delivery systems.

Harmful or Sensitive Content

WeDay aims to be a platform for positive engagement.

  • Content that contains excessive violence, adult nudity, sexual activity, or shocking imagery may be restricted or removed.
  • Misinformation, especially related to health, safety, or public well-being, may be reduced in reach or taken down.

Community Enforcement

We work with users to keep WeDay safe.

  • Users can report violations, which will be reviewed by our moderation team.
  • Depending on the severity of the violation, consequences include content removal, temporary restrictions, or permanent bans.

WeDay Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WeDay platform. By creating an account or using WeDay’s services, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use WeDay. Users under 18 require parental or guardian permission.

Your Account

You are responsible for all activity on your WeDay account.

  • Keep your credentials secure.
  • If you notice unauthorized activity, notify us immediately.

User Content

You retain ownership of what you post, but you give WeDay a global, non-exclusive license to use, share, display, and distribute that content on and off our platform for operational and promotional purposes.

Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use WeDay to violate laws or third-party rights.
  • Share harmful, misleading, or violent content.
  • Use automated means (e.g., bots or scrapers) without permission.

Payments and Transactions

WeDay provides tools for transactions and wallet services but is not liable for the conduct of buyers, sellers, or agents.

  • All users must comply with local financial regulations and tax obligations.
  • Disputes between users are handled according to our dispute policy.

Third-Party Services

WeDay may include integrations with third-party services such as delivery providers, payment partners (e.g., AYA, A+), and messaging tools.

  • Use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies or laws.

  • You can also choose to deactivate your account at any time.

Limitation of Liability

WeDay is offered "as is" without warranties of any kind.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the platform.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the platform means you accept any revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where WeDay is headquartered.

User Policy

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using the WeDay platform, you agree to be bound by this User Policy along with any additional guidelines, updates, or rules provided by WeDay. If you disagree with any of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

2. User Account

a. Registration

  • Accuracy: You must provide accurate, up-to-date information during account creation.
  • One Account per Identifier: Each individual or entity is allowed only one account per phone number unless explicitly permitted by WeDay.
  • Age Requirement: Users must be at least 13 years old to register or use the platform.

b. Account Security

  • Credential Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Enhanced Security: We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication. Any unauthorized access or suspicious activity must be reported immediately to WeDay.

c. Reporting Unauthorized Access

  • Incident Reporting: If you suspect your account has been compromised, please contact our support team immediately through the in-app reporting feature or via email at support@myday.group.

3. Prohibited Content and Activities

a. Prohibited Content

• Inappropriate or Harmful Material: You must not post any content that is hateful, explicit, or otherwise harmful. This includes:

  • Inappropriate language, hate speech, or inciting violence.
  • Misinformation or deceptive content.
  • Violent, graphic, or disturbing material.
  • Promotion of illegal or regulated goods (firearms, drugs, tobacco, etc.).
  • Sexual harassment, pornographic material, sexually explicit images/videos, adult services, or solicitations.
  • Any content that may be interpreted as sexually explicit or depicting nudity in a context that violates community standards.

Note: Definitions for terms such as “hate speech” or “graphic violence” are provided in our supplementary guidelines, which include clear examples to help you understand what is prohibited.

b. Prohibited Activities

  • Harassment, bullying, or hate speech.

    You must not engage in harassment, bullying, or hate speech toward any individual or group.
  • Impersonation

    Do not impersonate another person or organization.
  • Fraudulent Behavior

    Spamming, scamming, or any attempt to defraud other users is strictly prohibited.
  • Illegal transactions.

    Facilitating dishonest or illegal transactions is not allowed.

c. Enforcement Actions

  • First Violation: A formal warning will be issued.
  • Second Violation: The reported post, comment, or content will be removed.
  • Third Violation: Your account will be temporarily restricted for 7 days. During this period, you will be unable to post, comment, or engage in all of live features.
  • Final Action: Continued violations will result in permanent deletion of your account. All associated data, including posts and comments, will be irretrievably removed.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

a. User Data

  • Data Collection: Weday collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • User Rights: You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information. Detailed instructions on how to exercise these rights are provided in our Privacy Policy.

b. Security Measures

  • Data Security: YWeday employs advanced security protocols, including encryption and two-factor authentication, to protect your data.

c. Intellectual Property

  • Content Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you post; however, you grant Weday a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and modify your content as necessary to operate and improve the platform.

5. Transactions and Payments

a. Bank Transfers & Payment Integration

  • Secure Payments:Weday integrates with approved banking partners to support direct transfers and secure payment processing.
  • Linking Accounts :Users may securely link their bank accounts for transactions.

b. Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • Availability: COD is available for eligible products and regions as determined by Weday and its delivery partners.

c. Refunds & Disputes

  • Refund Policies: Refund terms for goods and services are set by the seller. Weday offers a structured dispute resolution process for unresolved issues.

d. Transaction Security and Fraud Prevention

  • Monitoring:We employ advanced monitoring systems to detect fraudulent transactions.
  • Accuracy:Users are responsible for providing accurate payment details. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately.

e. Updates to Payment Policies

  • Policy Changes:Weday reserves the right to update payment methods, fees, and related policies at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification..

6. Advertiser-Friendly Content

  • Ad Eligibility:Users creating monetizable content must comply with Weday’s advertiser-friendly guidelines.
  • Content Standards: Prohibited content for monetization includes violent imagery, explicit sexual content, misleading or deceptive practices, and insensitive language. info.

7. Blocking

a. Blocking Users

Mechanics: When you block another user:
  • They can no longer view your profile, posts, comments, or any shared content.
  • They cannot contact you or add you as a friend.
  • Blocking also automatically unfriends the blocked individual.
  • You cannot re-block the same user immediately after unblocking; a brief waiting period applies.

b. Blocking in Weday Messenger

  • Extended BlockingBlocking someone in Messenger also prevents them from contacting you via messages, calls, or finding your profile.

8. Reporting and Account Status

8.1 Reporting System

  • • Reporting MechanismUsers can report content, comments, user accounts, and pages/channels that violate Weday’s policies.

8.2 Reporting Process

  • Submission: Reports are submitted directly through the platform.
  • Review: Our moderation team reviews each report within 24 hours.
  • Action: Based on the review, actions may include warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account deletion.

8.3 Enforcement Actions for Reports

  • Mild Violations: Issue a warning notification is sent to the reported user.
  • Serious Violations: Remove offending content and, if necessary, suspend the account for 7 days.
  • Repeat Offenders: Permanently delete the account following continued violations.

9. Account/Page/Channel Status

  • Active:Normal status with full access to all features.
  • Restricted: Limited access due to policy violations.
  • Deactivated:Temporarily hidden by you or Weday; data is retained for potential reactivation.
  • Deleted: Permanently removed from the platform along with all associated data.

10. Restriction, Deactivation, and Deletion

10.1 Restriction

  • Limited Functionality:Restricted accounts may only view but cannot engage (like, comment, share, or post).
  • Messaging access is limited (users can view messages but cannot call, send messages, reply, and all other actions).

10.2 Deactivation

  • Temporary Withdrawa:lDeactivating your account hides your profile and content from other users. Your data is retained and can be restored upon reactivation.
  • Limited Access: Deactivated users cannot access Weday or Messenger until reactivated.

10.3 Deletion

  • Permanent Removal: Deleting your account, page, or channel results in the permanent loss of all associated data, including profiles, photos, videos, posts, and comments. This action is irreversible.

11. Termination of Service

Weday reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for:
  • Violations of this User Policy.
  • Engagement in fraudulent or harmful activities.
  • Prolonged inactivity.

12. Reporting and Enforcement Protocol

a. Reporting Violations

  • In-App Reporting: Use the reporting feature to flag content or behavior that violates our policies.

b. Complaint Resolution

1. For Consumers (Buyers):

Shared Policies

  • Both sellers and buyers must comply with Myanmar’s Consumer Protection Law.
  • Weday may suspend accounts for illegal activities (e.g., fraud, threats).

  • Periodic Reviews: This policy may be updated periodically.
  • Notification: Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notifications.
  • Continued Use: Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Page Policy

1. Page Roles & Permissions

  • Page owner: The Page owner role holds full control over the page, including creating, managing, or deleting posts, product listings, live streams, and other content. Page owners can manage advertisements via Ad Manager, analyze performance insights, respond to messages/comments, set monetization settings, and assign roles. This role cannot be removed by others.
  • Admins: share similar permissions to Owners but cannot remove the owner roles.
  • Moderators: can create/manage posts, respond to comments/messages, and remove content or ban users but lack access to Ad Manager and monetization tools.

2. Blocking, Reporting, and Enforcement

Pages can block users, profiles, pages, or groups, revoking all interaction privileges. Blocked users on Messenger lose communication access, including viewing posts, tagging the page, or inviting it to events and starting a conversation with the page.

Users may report content, accounts, pages, or channels, with reviews completed within 7 days. Enforcement actions include warnings, content removal, temporary posting bans (e.g., 3-day or 7-day restrictions), or permanent account deletion for repeat violations.

Fraudulent behavior follows a strict penalty ladder:

Account/page/channel deletion is irreversible, erasing all associated data (posts, comments, followers, etc.).

3. Page Content and Community Guidelines

SMEs must register with verified phone numbers to operate as online shops on WeDay. Contact information must remain accurate and secure. Content must avoid illegal, offensive, or harmful material, and copyrighted content requires authorization. Sexual content, adult services, or explicit material is strictly prohibited, with violations leading to immediate suspension or permanent removal. Content is monitored through AI and human reviews.

Account, Page, and Channel Status

Status Levels:

  • Active: Full access.
  • Restricted: Limited interactions. (restricted by Weday according to reported actions)
  • Deactivated: Temporarily disabled. (action taken by user or page owner)
  • Deleted: Permanently removed. (action taken by Weday or user or page owner)

Restrictions for Suspended Pages/channel:

  • Viewing is allowed, but no interaction is allowed on the platform
  • Limited access to Messenger and not allowed to make any call, send messages, reply, and other actions.
  • Deactivation & Deletion:

    Deactivation hides all your contents but retains data on Weday’s servers, and you can access it when you reactivate. While deactivated, you won’t be able to use Weday’s app and messenger. User can reactivate their account at any time by simply logging back in.

    Deletion of your account, pages, and channel is permanent and irreversible. All associated data are permanently removed including the user’s information, photos, videos, posts, comments, likes, and followers are permanently deleted. Once account/page/channel has deleted, user cannot recover the data.

    4. Page Capabilities

    Business pages offer customizable features, product/service listings, customer interaction tools (posts, messaging), sales monitoring, advertising tools, integrated delivery/payment services, and monetization opportunities. Product listings must include accurate descriptions, availability, images, and pricing; misleading ads are banned. SMEs must maintain stock availability, with WeDay providing delivery solutions.

    Transactions are processed via WeDay’s payment system, with SMEs responsible for platform fees and taxes. Refund policies must be clearly displayed, and returns comply with WeDay guidelines. Customers pay one-way delivery fees for returns, with refunds processed within 7 working days. Non-compliant products are ineligible for refunds. The platform does not support multiple delivery attempts for return items.

    5. Compliance & Legal Obligations

    Customer complaints must be resolved within 48 hours. If escalated to authorities (Consumer Affairs Department and others), WeDay investigates and suspends/bans fraudulent sellers. Penalties include warnings, 30-day suspensions (of user account, page, channel) or permanent bans.

    6. Customer Support & Performance

    Customers contact SMEs via WeDay messaging for product/delivery issues, while WeDay assists SMEs with account/payment inquiries. SMEs must maintain high performance; violations trigger escalating penalties: content removal (first warning), 7-day feature restrictions (second violation), 7-day account/page/channel disabling (third violation), and permanent deletion (final violation).

    7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

    SMEs must protect customer privacy and handle data securely. Sharing or selling customer data is strictly prohibited. All customer data must be securely handled and never misused.

    8. Account Termination & Suspension

    WeDay reserves the right to suspend/terminate accounts for policy breaches. Prohibited businesses include multi-level marketing (MLM), gambling, casinos, forex trading, illegal financial services, and unethical/illegal activities.

    9. Order Cancellation

    Shops may cancel orders before delivery pickup, with notifications sent to both parties. Three cancellations per 100 orders are free; additional cancellations incur half the delivery fee from the Online Shop.

    10. Fraud Management

    WeDay monitors transactions and complaints. Suspected fraudulent pages will undergo a thorough investigation. Fraudulent activities (e.g., counterfeit goods, false claims) lead to immediate suspension or permanent removal.

    11. Prohibited Business Activities

    Banned activities include MLM schemes, gambling and casinos, forex trading and unregulated financial services, any other business deemed unethical or illegal as per local or international laws, sexual content or adult services, pornography, escort services, intellectual property violations, and unethical/illegal practices.

    By agreeing to these policies, SMEs commit to upholding quality, compliance, and customer service standards on WeDay, adhering to all platform guidelines. End of the document.
